"Sonic Wire" is a Swiss hard-rock band from Chironico, Switzerland. The band was founded in 2006 by bassist/singer Eric Belli, guitarist Mattia Beffa and guitarist Sava Andjelcovic. The first sessions took place in a small garage in Chironico with the help of drummer Dalibor Bocigevic. Some time later Dalibor left the group but that didn't stop the band, which was, on the contrary, ready to find someone else. There was a full load of energy in the band so finding a new drummer wouldn't be that hard.
The ex drummer was replaced by Francesco Bellicini and the band moved to a bigger as well as more comfortable place in the gym of the small town. Francesco contributed in a very positive way and with him Sonic Wire would greatly improve. Unfortunately, after a few months, Francesco left as well and joined "Freeday's Afternoon", a blues band from Bellinzona, Switzerland. Because of some unpleasant troubles the rest of the band was kicked out of the gym so they had no place to go to. Even though such bad news came, the band started to look for someone who'd replace the missing pieces.
A lucky break came when the band met Marco Tarantolo (guitarist) which not only did his best in the band but even offered them a nice place to meet and play together in Chiggiogna, Switzerland. The band was still missing a drummer so the vacant spot Francesco left was filled by Luca Zucchetti. The new place Marco offered the band was located pretty far from Chironico. At the beginning this wasn't such a big deal but after a while meeting each other to play was getting harder and harder overtime. They started then to look for a new place to go to and they fortunately found a place in Chironico which would be monthly paid by the band itself. Having a nice spot close to home brought luck and made them feel like playing as much as they'd never done before.
A new era had just started and Sonic Wire would have a great deal of improvement within the coming months. Having three guitars in the band turned out to be pretty hard to handle and after a unanimous decision Marco Tarantolo left the band.
In April 2011 the formation of the band changed again with Francesco Bellicini back in the band.
